I went to law school thinking I was interested in Criminal law, so I was surprised when I loved my Wills and Estates class. It got me thinking about my family and how all this new knowledge applied to them. So I started talking with my husband, and my parents about their plans for the future. I quickly discovered that my parents were very worried about retirement and about what they would leave behind for my brother and I and how difficult it may be for us. This weighed on me because I didn’t want my family to stress over these things. My parents have worked so hard for what they have and to make a better life for my brother and I. So I made it my mission to help them! I have been learning everything I can about Estate Planning since then. I have learned that estate and financial planning go hand in hand and that everyone needs a holistic plan to cover both - to make sure they have enough money for retirement, and a simple plan for what will happen when they pass away. I have been able to help my parents set up an estate plan and a financial plan that work together, and I have literally seen the worry wash from their faces. They truly have peace of mind about the future. That’s why I am here today and do what I do, because I want all my clients to have that same peace of mind. I love to get to know my clients like they are my family, find out what and who are important to them, and help them make a plan so they can go on living and enjoying their retirement without having to worry about what will happen later!
